    J.G. Uniforms, Inc. has been family owned and operated since 1982, offering the highest quality uniforms and customer service in the industry. Our full-scale tailoring facility has been manufacturing uniforms in Chicago since the beginning, a rarity in the days of offshore manufacturing and sub-contracting. All of our work is proudly done in-house, atypical of the industry, giving us complete control of order turnaround and quality management.

    In the beginning, J.G. Uniforms designed and manufactured custom doorman, pilot, theatre, law enforcement and security uniforms, supplying some of the most prestigious Chicagoland public and private agencies with their uniform needs. In these years, we developed the reputation for providing superior tailor made products with the personal customer care and expertise needed to support them.

    Since the movement for mandatory use of ballistic armor by law enforcement and security professionals, we saw the opportunity to develop a product that would help make each user of body armor more comfortable and better equipped to serve and protect. We have since innovated the use of an exterior ballistic armor carrier that is both more comfortable and practical than wearing your body armor underneath your shirt. Our personally developed and time-tested vest cover patterns and measuring system have proven to fit our customers superior to the stock products they have previously been accustomed to.

    Presently, J.G. Uniforms is a full service law enforcement apparel and equipment supplier. In addition to this, we still manufacture the many custom uniforms that provided the foundation for our business.
